King's Dominion? Never again!!

I told you I would update you on the trip with David and my brother Josh. It started out great. I got up in the morning with a lot of energy and feeling great (which is pretty rare lately). I got the kids stuff packed up the night before and put the few last minute things in the bags when I woke up that morning. We piled everyone in the car and off we went to deliver our bundles of joy to the babysitters. Noah and Dawson were going to stay with my friend Lisa, and Caleb was going to my Aunt Sally's. The kids were excited, even though they didn't understand what was quite going on, they were singing and laughing the whole way in the car. They were just excited to be going somewhere. They love going places. Anyway, we dropped them off and it went very smooth each one took fine to their new surroundings and didn't even cry when we walked out the front door. I can't figure out what emotion that makes me feel. I am happy b/c they aren't sad, but I am sad that they are happy. I thought maybe they liked me more then that:):):) My kids have always been pretty easy going though so I am not surprised.

Well we set off for King's Dominion around 8:30 am. We decided we weren't in any hurry so we were gonna take our time maybe stop for breakfast and just enjoy the day. We did decide to stop when we saw the Cracker Barrel sign. It was so tasty I love Cracker Barrel mmmmm......

So to make a long story short, I don't think that theme parks are for me anymore, for three reasons. 1. I am getting too old maybe:) 2. My health at this point can't handle it 3. Well there isn't a three but it sounded better if I said there were three reasons:):). Needless to say I didn't handle all the crazy rides this time. It was about three hours in and I just began to get feeling worse and worse. So for now I am just gonna lay off the theme parks:(:(:(:(. I am so sad. I love all the rides and things, However I don't think it seemed as exciting as it used to when I was a teenager and we would all go. So now my fun will rest in playing at the park on the kiddy slide with Caleb, Noah and Dawson. I couldn't ask for a better time than that. I love to play with my kids:)

Well till next time...

David, My brother Josh, and Kings Dominion..

Ok, so they talked me into it. I am going. I am headed out tomorrow morning to the theme park with David and Josh. After what was meant to be a "day off" for David, it turned out he said he would rather spend the time with me:):). He is very excited that Josh asked him to go to the park with him. It is very seldom we as parents have the invite from someone to do things. I guess it is an assumption that we are too busy with the kids and all. Which, usually is true. However, it just so happened that we were able to find sitters and off we go. I am excited and even more excited that not only did my brother want to include me but it was so wonderful to be asked by my husband to join him:). Not that he doesn't ask me to do things, well exactly, it is that he doesn't ask me to do things and that is b/c we always do things together. I love that we just spend our time together whether it be in chores, or grocery shopping, or bathing the kids, to even cooking and play time of course. It was a different feeling this time though. It brought me back to when we were engaged and he would call me and say lets do this or lets do that. It was fun to be asked. Anyway, enough with the boring stuff. I will write tomorrow or sometime there after and tell you how my day went.

Forever and new play rooms???

Ok, I know it has been forever since I have written anything. I have been sorta busy. I have been reorganizing the kids playroom and going through all the old toys and weeding out the junk, yes junk is what I said. You would be surprised how much junk just builds up in a kids playroom. Messy..... whew. I am glad it is almost over. Anyway, I plan on posting pictures of it and some new ones of the kids sometime next week.

OH!! Exciting we got Noah his fist big boy bed, he has been sleeping in a toddler bed forever, and finally just last weekend he received a twin bed from David's dad. He was getting rid of it and it was in great condition. Thanks Dave!!

On Saturday David and I were invited to go to King's Dominion with my brother. I am still thinking it might be a bad idea for me to go given my current state of health I really don't have many good days and stay pretty sick most of the time. Anyway I think on the other hand it might be good for me to get out so who knows????? Decisions:):)..

On a very good note... I have an amazing testimony. Due to me not feeling as good anymore we needed to be able to bring the nanny on full time but financially didn't look like we could so we began to pray about it and ask the Lord to provide, and as always he is faithful. I received a call two days after David and I decided that we needed her full time, It was a very dear person to me, My grandmother. She had said that she was sending a check in the mail that would cover the nannies salary for the extra two days a week for the next 10 weeks. How amazing!! David and I had just said that after looking at the finances that we would need about 2 months or so to be able to catch up on a few things and be able to move some things around to bring her on, we also said we didn't think we could wait 2 months to bring her on b/c we need her now so God knew we needed a miracle and he provided it. Thank you Jesus and Thank you Grandma. This is such a blessing and much needed.

Well I will write again soon.

Another show..

So my business is going very well. I have enjoyed taking a few evenings here and there to get dressed up and go do the home shows to sell the jewelry. I am becoming more confident in myself, and things seem to be running very smooth. The other night I had a show that I was very nervous about, I couldn't figure out why. I asked the Lord for peace and then proceeded. It turned out to be the highest show I had done. I made more money that night then I had ever made doing the previous shows. God really blessed me. I know by having those few nights here and there have really made a difference in my time at home. I seemed to be more refreshed and less stressed which is always good huh??:):) Well I have some important things to write but I will have to do it later. I am tired and have another show tomorrow so, Good night all:):)

Funeral

Well I am leaving tonight to go to a funeral that will be in Maryland. It's a three hours drive or so. My mom is going to so I am gonna have someone to ride with me and talk to. My nanny is gonna watch my kids tomorrow and then I will be home around 7pm. I will miss my husband and kids. I don't like being away from them, but it's only one night so I think it won't be so bad.

I am feeling a bit sad and not sure if I really want to go through the emotions of grieving even though I have been out of touch with this person for so long. I remember him from when I was little and he was friends with my parents and we used to play with their kids. We lost touch with them on a regular basis around my 12th birthday maybe. They were living sorta far from us and you know how life goes, unfortunately, we often drift apart over time. I am thankful that he knew the Lord and despite his suffering physically here on earth he is rejoicing with his new healthy body in Heaven. I have to admit I m a bit jealous that he gets to sit around the throne of God worshipping the almighty God. I am looking forward to the day when I get to do the same. Don't get me wrong I love my life here with my husband and kids and family. I am blessed and give thanks to the Lord for everything he has given me, but to those who worship God and touch the throne from here on earth, you know what anticipation lies within to actually be there in his presence. How amazing. I know Larry is having a blast so I am happy for him in the sense that he get to be with the Lord.

For those who know Peggy, Troy, Bill, and Sam please keep them in prayer as those go through this time.

When it rains it pours...

Lately its been raining like crazy. The other day the boys were begging to go outside and it was pouring. I finally said fine if ya want to go out go ahead. I figured what could it hurt its just a little rain besides I thought once they went out and realized it was raining that they would come back in right away. NOT! They loved it so I went out for a bit with them as they played in the rain and giggled and explored the water dripping from the sky. We had a lot of fun.

Our pool was down due to some cleaning it needed, and we hadn't been able to get it cleaned b/c of the rain. The kids thought it was fun to run through it b/c of the puddles the rain caused inside it. I took some pictures b/c it was so adorable to see them having a blast. Here they are.

Molly:)

My puppy Molly has been so fun to have. I love dogs, and she has been a joy (a handful too but what can I say she is a puppy). She has been like having a fourth baby around, but it's been worth it. The kids really like her. It is fun to hear them giggle when she runs after them and they chase her around. I love to hear my kids laugh and see them have a good time. She is 8 months old and fully grown at about 7lbs:) She is little. Caleb thinks its ok and very funny to throw her around and beat her with various objects... We need to teach him to be gentle with her, but she doesn't seem to mind. She always comes back to defend her self.:):) She is so gentle with Dawson, it is like she knows he is the baby and she should treat him different. She always comes and lays next to him and plays with her toys. Dawson giggles and laughs when she licks his face and stuff. Anyway, here are a couple pictures of her.

P.S she needs a haircut:):)

Cars....

Great Movie. I was very impressed. It was a great story and a great lesson. Anyone wondering if it is just a boy movie, or kid movie, no-way, Its a great family movie. We took Caleb out for a special night with daddy and Mommy. Our first stop was to Kyoto. The best Japanese Steak House I have ever eaten at. It is my favorite food. Caleb likes it b/c they cook right in front of you and do all kinds of tricks. Keeps him occupied and entertained (anyone with kids knows what a challenge it is to keep kids occupied in a restaurant). Then we headed off to see CARS He loved it. He sat through the whole thing. I highly recommend it.

By the way we didn't leave Noah out, Grandpa (or gran-kaw as Caleb likes to say) and Grammy took him the same night for a special night out. It was really nice to spend one on one time with Caleb, next time we are gonna switch and take Noah for some special time and send Caleb with Grandpa and Grammy (his favorite people anyway:)
