Family Fun!

David's Grandad came in town this weekend. It was really nice to see him. He is such a joy to be around. The kids had a blast. Usually Caleb is very shy, and a bit anxious when we get around people (even family) we don't see very often, and he will cry, and tends to be frightened. He really won't pay attention to them, and screams if they talk to him. We have been praying that he would become more comfortable and enjoy himself when we are out and around others. It almost seems like a social anxiety type of thing. We really want him to be able to trust that we wouldn't put him in harms way. We are not pushy with him, we just love on him, and let him know that everything is alright and that he is loved by his family.


Well, this time it was like we had a completely different child. He opened up to Grandaddy and just played, and laughed, and had a great time (something he had never done with grandaddy or too many others). I was so pleased as a mommy to see my baby trust the way he did today. God is so good. I know Grandaddy was blessed. He had been waiting for this day for a long time.
